The City of Worthington is currently seeking applicants for positions on two Boards and Commissions. City Council is accepting applications to fill terms on the Architectural Review Board and the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Architectural Review Board – 1 year term – The Architectural Review Board hears requests for development in and any modifications to structures in the Architectural Review District of the City. The Architectural Review Board meets before the Municipal Planning Commission on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 7pm.
Board of Zoning Appeals – 3 year term - The Board of Zoning Appeals hears requests for variance from the City’s Planning and Zoning Code as well as certain requests for variance from the City’s Building Code. The Board of Zoning Appeals serves as a quasi-judicial body with appeals from the Board of Zoning Appeals taken to the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. The Board of Zoning Appeals meets the first Thursday of the month at 7pm.
All Boards and Commission members serve without compensation.
