John Laing, a senior at Bexley High School and a Boy Scout in Troop 166, has been busy working on his Eagle Scout project over the past several months. Him and his former second grade teacher, Mr. Hoover (a retired Bexley teacher) are working with Bed Brigade and US Together to build beds for refugee and immigrant families.
This Saturday, 15 students from BMS and BHS have volunteered to help build beds. John is currently seeking donations for items like sheets and blankets. If you'd like to get involved or participate, click the link posted in the comments section of this post!
