As a business owner for more than four decades, Jill’s success was built from the ground up. She’s navigated the highs and lows of management, weathered the storm of opposition, and shown the great perseverance required to succeed. To me, a person’s success in small business says something about their business knowledge and even more about their character.
What separates a successful businessperson from others is their willingness to step out and risk it all. Jill is a confident leader who will guide this community into a healthier and brighter future. I respect Jill’s boldness and tenacity. She’s taking the experience she gained as a successful businessperson and is using it to stand up for our community. Jill is running for state representative. Jill has met thousands of families through her 35 years as a realtor. These families make up our families and our community. Jill’s first-hand knowledge of our community will be instrumental in making a meaningful difference in our community. Jill not only knows the struggles we face, but she also shares in those struggles because she’s a part of our community. Jill has observed and experienced the issues we face, such as rising inflation, growing taxes, and government mandates. And she’s determined to bring about change. Jill is committed to seeing our community thrive.
Along with any economic problems we’ve faced, family values are under attack by a culture intent on deconstructing the traditional family. Jill's experience as a mother and wife allows her to understand our community’s families, whether that be two career, single-parent, or anything in between. Jill has built her success on trust and commitment to our community. This success will transfer seamlessly in the house of representatives, as she represents our people with integrity and courage. Her skills as a business leader will also play a pivotal role in her ability to lead and make difficult decisions.
Jill has continually impressed me as someone who builds paths for people to gain more opportunities. Jill recently attended a forum for the National Association of Women Business Owners. Here, Jill demonstrated her commitment to creating opportunities and inspiring women to develop their ideas. Jill uses her knowledge and experience to inspire others and turn their perceived weaknesses into strengths. For Jill, an important part of this is education. Jill is determined to improve accessibility and quality of our schooling. As a young person in our community, I am confident that Jill will continue to inspire other young people and show them their full potential.
Jill has highlighted five key issues: public safety, education, mental health, open-mindedness, and the economy. One of the most relevant of these right now is public safety. Jill is committed to funding our local police departments and first responders. It has been a profoundly contentious time for police officers over the last couple of years, our area included. Controversies arise from difficult split-second decisions and a few rotten eggs, mixed with heavy media attention. Collectively, these have stained the nation’s once-golden view of the men and women in law enforcement. Despite the shortcomings, our community is not safe without our respected police officers. These brave men and women in our communities put their lives on the line to protect us. Through all the noise, Jill Rudler is choosing to put herself on the line to protect them.
Jill’s campaign’s goals include reducing barriers for small businesses getting off the ground and helping taxpayers (all of us) save money. Covid-19 brought unprecedented pressure on our families and our local businesses. Many people lost their jobs, businesses were forced to close, and many families were torn apart by political polarization. Jill is the right person to undo the financial damage that we have incurred through tax relief and slashing wasteful spending. Her business experience will be instrumental in bringing meaningful change.
Another issue important to Jill and our community is mental health. It’s grown to be one of the most pressing problems affecting my generation. Covid-19 accelerated these problems. Isolation had a detrimental impact on our most vulnerable minds. Jill’s desire to bring necessary help for this typically taboo subject is commendable. It is often difficult to talk about mental health issues, let alone campaign for changes in this area. Jill’s stance expresses great compassion and proves that she listens to what all members of our community need. Simply put, everything I have seen from Jill shows someone who truly and genuinely cares about our community.
Jill Rudler is my choice for the House of Representatives because families and local businesses need a lawmaker who will speak for them. In Jill’s hands, our community can flourish. Jill has the compassion, the family focus, and the business experience to thrive as our representative.
