Preventing foodborne illnesses (food poisoning) has always been a priority for our Food Safety staff. Sometimes this is done through an investigation, enforcement or preferably through education. The good news is that most of the food establishments within our communities want to do a good job and are open to any help our staff offers. With that in mind, our Food Safety staff has worked long and hard to create a reference guide to assist our food establishments. It breaks down all of the technical jargon into easy-to-read instructions with images to help.
The guide will also be translated into Spanish, Amharic, Nepali, Arabic, and Chinese.
