#featurefriday Clare Ceballos, Rec Board Member 2021. Her family moved back to Bexley in 2013 after 20 years away. She is a first-generation American and the first person in her family to have been born here in the United States.
We asked her why she wanted to be part of the Recreation Board, and she said, "My whole family has been heavy users and big fans of Bexley Rec and parks since our return to Bexley. We have had excellent experiences in our wide range of programs and events, and our Bexley Rec staff interactions are always fantastic. We have always felt that the Bexley Rec/Parks programming is a massive piece of what makes Bexley a uniquely special place to live and build so much community. So when I saw a role pop up, I realized this is precisely the place I would like to help support in some way. What I love about the role is watching the programs grow, hearing what's on the horizon, and learning the fun new ideas the staff has come up with. They are so creative!
