The FCSO welcomes the newest members of the Chaplain Unit. Amy Hanes calls Grace Life Nazarene in New Albany her “church home” and she serves local missions.
Tony Burns is a retired pastor who now serves as a “pastor to pastors.” He attends the First Church of God in Columbus.
The FCSO Chaplain Unit provides emotional and spiritual support to staff members. Members are called upon to assist deputies in the difficult task of notifying family members when a loved one is killed, or providing support to the community during traumatic events.
