City of Upper Arlington issued the following announcement on Mar 2.
As we celebrate Women’s History Month, meet some of our Wall of Honor inductees who left a mark on the community, the region and beyond. This week, we highlight Bertha Bouroncle, M.D., medical innovator, pioneer researcher, and beloved educator who played s lead role at OSU in identifying “hairy cell leukemia,” then assisted in development of an effective therapy that transformed the once fatal condition into one of the most treatable cancers.
