Franklin County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on Feb 16.
WE ARE HIRING! We had a wonderful opportunity to spend time with students focused on public safety at Columbus Downtown High School. Deputies provided students with a tour of the new James A. Karnes Corrections Center.
The FCSO is hiring deputies and civilian employees and we hire at 18! The students asked a lot of great questions and especially wanted to know if they need a college degree to apply. The FCSO requires only a high school diploma. If you want to work and take college courses at the same time, our amazing benefits package includes tuition reimbursement.
