Knox County Park District issued the following announcement on Jan. 13.
The Knox County Park District Board of Commissioners announced at their monthly board meeting that the long anticipated Heart of Ohio Trail Extension finishing Knox County’s last remaining section of the Ohio To Erie Trail is out for bid!
This section of trail which spans Huffman Road in Centerburg to North County Line Road is approximately 1.1 miles in Knox County and .25 in Licking County and will finally connect the three counties on the Ohio To Erie Trail!
The goal is to have the trail paved by Memorial Day!
