Graduates earn 161 degrees, certificates from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine

About 49.7 percent of the 161 degrees and certificates handed out by the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Columbus conferred 80 associate's degrees in registered nursing, nursing administration, nursing research and clinical nursing, other programs.

Other popular programs include "other" practical nursing, vocational nursing and nursing assistants, massage therapy/therapeutic massage and acupuncture and oriental medicine.

The institute enrolled 425 students for 2017-18, including 410 in undergraduate programs and 15 in graduate programs.
