80 percent of applicants to the American Institute of Alternative Medicine were admitted for fall 2018

At the American Institute of Alternative Medicine, 79 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 83 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Columbus enrolled 425 students in fall 2018, including 410 in undergraduate and 15 in graduate programs, data shows. 16.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (70 percent) and white (20 percent).

The school admitted 80 percent of the 50 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 45 percent enrolled.
