On March 26, 2026, Gavarone expressed her pride in Ohio’s natural resources and discussed her participation in a working group focused on public safety. She stated, “Ohio has the best State Parks in the Country! I was honored to be a part of the Public Safety in State Parks Working Group as we look towards the future of our great State Parks! On March 28, Gavarone thanked regional health commissioners for visiting the statehouse. Gavarone serves as Ohio State Senator for the 2nd Senate District and held leadership roles such as Senate Majority Floor Leader during the 136th General Assembly. Her career includes previous service on Bowling Green City Council and in the Ohio House of Representatives.
