Ohio Senator Theresa Gavarone shared updates on her recent activities across her district in a series of posts between April 28 and April 30, 2026. The tweets highlighted her participation in community events and efforts related to local development, preservation, and environmental restoration.

On April 28, Gavarone attended a meeting focused on developmental disabilities, writing: “Started a busy day at the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities Annual Meeting where we got to hear a powerful keynote, and learn about the great work done by community partners! A terrific start to the day!”

The following day, she visited a historic site in Genoa. On April 29, she posted: “I really enjoyed my tour of the Genoa Town Hall and Civic Theatre where I got to learn more about the work being done to preserve such a historic building!”

On April 30, Gavarone reported on an environmental project: “Traveled across the district Wednesday, with my first stop in Lucas County for the Mallard Club Wetland Restoration Ribbon Cutting! This project, made possible by a collaboration between H2Ohio and Ducks Unlimited, will play a crucial role in improving the water quality in this”

Gavarone resides in Bowling Green with her husband Jim and their three children, according to her official biography. She earned degrees from Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo College of Law. Gavarone has held several public offices including Senate Majority Floor Leader during the 136th General Assembly and served both on Bowling Green City Council and in the Ohio House of Representatives. She is also known for co-owning Mr. Spots restaurant in Bowling Green with her husband.
