Rep. Joyce Beatty, U.S. Congresswoman representing Ohio’s 3rd district, used her social media platform on October 2, 2025, to criticize Republican actions regarding health care funding and government operations.

Joyce Beatty has represented Ohio’s 3rd District in Congress since 2013 after serving in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999 to 2008. She was born in Dayton in 1950 and currently resides in Columbus. Beatty earned her BA from Central State University in 1972.
