Two Cincinnati men have admitted guilt in a federal court for their involvement in armed robberies targeting postal carriers. Antonio Toombs, 21, and Lorenzo Brandon, 22, confessed to stealing USPS arrow keys during these incidents.

The two men participated in separate robberies on the same day. They each pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing mail or property from the United States Postal Service. This offense carries a potential sentence of up to 25 years in prison.

According to plea agreements, the events took place on October 21, 2023. Toombs, Brandon, and an unnamed juvenile assaulted two postal workers that day. The first attack occurred around 12:40 p.m., near Hanna Avenue in Cincinnati, where they stole an arrow key from the victim. The second incident happened later at approximately 3:40 p.m., near Harry Lee Lane.

Sentencing will be determined by the court based on advisory guidelines and other legal factors during future hearings. Congress sets the maximum statutory penalty for such crimes.

Kenneth L. Parker, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, and Lesley Allison from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), Pittsburgh Division announced these guilty pleas before U.S. District Court Judge Jeffery P. Hopkins. Assistant United States Attorney Timothy S. Mangan is handling the case for the prosecution.
