Greg Blatt has dedicated over 40 years to assisting individuals and families with buying or selling property in southwest Ohio. Operating primarily in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, Blatt has become a respected figure in the local real estate market. His extensive knowledge of regional trends and communities has earned him the trust of numerous clients.

Blatt's journey into real estate was not straightforward. He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in radio, television, advertising, and public relations before starting his career at Anheuser-Busch. However, he soon realized that the corporate environment was not suitable for him. Seeking more independence and purpose, he transitioned into real estate during a challenging period when interest rates reached 21.7%.

“Interest rates were 21.7% at the time [in the 1980s]—an incredibly tough market. But those challenges taught me to think creatively and focus on solutions,” Blatt explained.

His approach focuses on building long-term relationships rather than just completing transactions.

“People often think REALTORS are just there for the transaction, but I see it as building a long-term relationship,” Blatt stated. “We want to be a trusted advisor, not just for the purchase or sale, but for years to come.”

In addition to residential work, Blatt is active in commercial real estate, particularly land development. His contributions have supported community growth through projects like shopping centers and residential complexes.

“REALTORS have the unique opportunity to shape communities through purposeful development. Done well, it can strengthen a neighborhood and create opportunities for future generations,” Blatt said.

Blatt also emphasizes homeownership's transformative impact.

“Owning a home isn’t just about having a place to live—it’s about building equity and creating a foundation for financial security,” he remarked.

He believes homeownership promotes pride and engagement within neighborhoods.

Reflecting on his career, Blatt finds satisfaction not only professionally but also personally through connections made with clients.

“Some of my most rewarding moments are when clients tell me, ‘Thank you for helping us through this process,’ or invite me to their family celebrations,” he shared.

Blatt's dedication has made him an integral part of the southwest Ohio real estate community. His work transcends transactions; it involves helping people find their place and build their future while feeling at home in every sense.
