Pathfinder Product Labs, LLC, a global product management consulting and coaching firm, announces a $5.4 million investment in new payroll, expanding its existing national headquarters in Grandview Heights, creating 40 new jobs by 2025. The investment will be used to support its existing employees and add new jobs with work-from-home flexibility, cementing Pathfinder’s commitment to talent and proven success helping clients build more successful products and portfolios through product coaching and consulting services.

Pathfinder has nearly quintupled its workforce in the past two years, prompting the expansion of its existing 1207 Grandview Avenue, Grandview Heights location. “The Columbus Region is the ideal place to continue growing our business and establishing our national headquarters,” said Brett Buchanan, CEO of Pathfinder Product Labs. “The central location, robust talent pipeline and breadth of industries makes it a natural fit for us. We’re happy to be a part of the community that has cultivated our success in the Region.”

Founded and headquartered in the Columbus Region, Pathfinder Product Labs is a globally recognized company. Pathfinder has evolved from a single-client, homegrown business started by Brett Buchanan in 2017 to a preferred partner for startups with massive growth potential, legendary brands and Fortune 500 companies across the globe. “As businesses are confronted with recession-like conditions and more uncertainty than ever, I get to see our team solve really complex business challenges through product management in healthcare, retail, ed-tech and beyond,” said Tammy Lawlor, vice president of Go to Market, Pathfinder. "That kind of impact is exciting, and it’s especially exciting to see it happen here in the Columbus Region.”

“We welcome Pathfinder Product Labs’ expansion and the many resulting opportunities for workplace and talent development within our community,” said Greta Kearns, Mayor of the City of Grandview Heights. “Pathfinder’s collaborative approach to helping companies across industries maximize their capabilities is in line with Grandview Heights’ community-focused nature.”

The Columbus Region is ideal for headquarters and business services with its significant back office and technology talent with concentrations of software developers, financial specialists and customer service representatives well above the national average. It is home to five Fortune 500 companies and represents a diverse group of advanced industries including e-commerce, automotive, bio-medical and advanced computing. Companies operating in the Region continue to pursue innovation, testing new processes and products in Columbus, which is demographically representative of the nation.

“Pathfinder Product Labs’ unique product management approach is delivering solutions to companies seeking to improve their products while spurring rapid growth for its operations in Grandview,” said J.P. Nauseef, president and CEO of JobsOhio. “The headquarters expansion will bring 40 new jobs, nearly quadrupling Pathfinder Product Labs’ current workforce.”
