Ohio State Representative Ron Ferguson posted a series of tweets on May 14 and 15, 2026, raising questions about the spending habits of DraftKings and expressing curiosity about recent developments involving the company and other organizations.

On May 14, Ferguson asked, “Does anyone know why @DraftKings would spend so much money? https://t.co/jvtlDwsC4X”. The following day, he referenced two other public figures in a brief message: ” facts @RepThomasMassie @MassieforKY https://t.co/zOBL5PxXfS” (May 15). Later that same day, Ferguson tweeted again regarding DraftKings and the Ohio Chamber: “I can’t quite put my finger on it but I suddenly have Déjà vu. @DraftKings @OhioChamber you guys have any idea why? https://t.co/qPwxdW82Cg”.

Ferguson represents Ohio’s 96th House District, which includes Jefferson and Monroe counties as well as eastern Belmont County. He is serving his third term in office and participates in several legislative committees such as Financial Institutions, Medicaid, Technology and Innovation, and Government Oversight. Ferguson has advocated for election security measures and community safety initiatives through his legislative work (official biography).

He resides in Wintersville with his wife Emma and their daughters Ava and Eloise. Ferguson grew up in the Ohio Valley, graduated from Indian Creek High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from The Ohio State University (official biography).
