Representative Josh Williams, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and an alumnus of the University of Toledo, has recently shared several updates on his social media account. His posts touch on topics ranging from public health to local political engagement and campaign endorsements.

On September 4, 2025, Williams expressed criticism regarding the handling of public health information during the COVID-19 pandemic. He stated, “The credibility of public health in America was destroyed by the covid pandemic. We were lied to about natural immunity, the efficacy of masks, about school closures, the vaccines stopping transmission. Those same bureaucrats despise RFK Jr. because he exposed their failures.”

Later that evening, Williams acknowledged his participation in a local political event hosted by a regional Republican organization. On September 5, 2025, he wrote: “Thank you to the Sylvania Area Republican Club for hosting me tonight.

It was an honor to share with my neighbors my story, why I stepped up to run for Congress and my vision for a stronger future for our community.”

In another post dated September 5, 2025, Williams announced receiving support from a student-led political group at his alma mater: “Grateful to be endorsed by the University of Toledo College Republicans! As a proud alum, I’m honored to have the support of the next generation of conservatives ready to lead our community forward—starting with flipping OH-9.”

Josh Williams is currently serving as a U.S. Representative and has been active in Ohio politics as both an elected official and community advocate.
