Representative Josh Williams, a U.S. Congressman for Ohio’s 41st District, has recently shared several posts on his official X account addressing crime in cities, energy policies, and juvenile rehabilitation programs.

On August 28, 2025, Williams commented on public safety concerns in major urban areas governed by Democrats. In his post he stated: “Oh, so crime is a problem? It isn’t just a ‘right-wing’ narrative that people in Democrat-run cities don’t feel safe? Newsom could have done this at any point but didn’t until Trump threatened to send the National Guard.” This statement comes amid ongoing national debates about crime rates and public safety measures in U.S. cities.

The following day, August 29, Williams addressed energy policy and its economic impact. He wrote: “It turns out that unleashing American energy production and rejecting green new scams actually works. Don’t let the Democrats gaslight you: Prices are DOWN under President Trump’s America First energy policies.” The post references recent declines in consumer prices attributed by some policymakers to changes in federal energy policy.

Later on August 29, Williams discussed efforts to support youth rehabilitation. He posted: “Today I visited the Northwest Ohio Juvenile Detention Center to meet with Director Dan Jones & the board to learn about the C.O.R.E & R.A.D programs. These initiatives are giving young people the care, skills & support they need to build meaningful, successful lives.” The C.O.R.E and R.A.D programs referenced by Williams aim to provide rehabilitative services for juveniles within the justice system.

Representative Williams has previously focused legislative attention on issues related to law enforcement funding and criminal justice reform within Ohio’s 41st District. His recent social media activity continues this pattern of engaging with constituents on topics ranging from public safety and energy costs to community-based interventions for at-risk youth.
