Representative Josh Williams, a congressional candidate from Northwest Ohio, has recently used his social media platform to address campaign support, immigration policy debates, and share aspects of his personal history.

On July 24, 2025, Williams thanked supporters in the pro-life community for their involvement in his campaign. He posted: “Thank you Jeff Barefoot, Jon Jakubowski, Ed Sitter, Peter Range and the rest of the pro-life community here in Northwest Ohio for coming out tonight to support my campaign for Congress!

Together we’ll retire Marcy Kaptur and give Northwest Ohio the leadership it deserves! https://t.co/x5Cc7e5MQx

Later that day, Williams commented on recent statements made about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. On July 24, 2025 he wrote: “Border Czar Tom Homan is right, there is no excuse for Democrat Members of Congress to compare ICE Agents to terrorists or Nazis.

If Marcy Kaptur refuses to denounce this dangerous and divisive rhetoric from her own party, she is complicit. https://t.co/bKuY3s0thT

In a subsequent post on July 24, 2025, Williams discussed his personal experiences with homelessness and disability as a young adult. He stated: “I was homeless at 18. Disabled at 23. When I tried to get job training, the state threatened to cut off my disability check—trying to starve me into government dependency.

I didn’t ask for pity. I chose to fight.
