Rep. Joyce Beatty, a prominent member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 3rd district, has been actively engaging with constituents and raising awareness on key issues through her social media presence. Serving since 2013, Beatty has been a long-standing advocate for women’s rights and senior citizens. Below are some recent posts from her.

On April 14, 2025, Rep. Beatty expressed her gratitude for receiving the 2025 WELD Riveter Award. In her post, she stated, “Last week, I was honored to accept the 2025 WELD Riveter Award from the WELD Ohio chapter. Thank you to the incredible women of WELD for paving the way and investing in women in Ohio and across the nation. You and your contributions are truly invaluable.” The recognition from WELD, a notable organization supporting women in leadership, underscores her commitment to advocating for women’s empowerment.

Later the same day, Beatty took a firm stance on a legal issue, condemning former President Trump’s actions in relation to a Supreme Court directive. She stated, “Anyone who believes in due process, and the rule of law should be outraged that President Trump is openly disregarding a Supreme Court order today. This is unacceptable and it is unconstitutional.” The strong language reflects her dedication to upholding constitutional law and governance.

On April 15, 2025, Beatty advocated for senior citizens’ issues by participating in a nationwide Democratic initiative focusing on Social Security benefits. She tweeted, “You heard them – seniors are serious! Today, House Dems across the country are having these critical conversations because we’re serious about protecting hard-earned Social Security benefits too! #SeniorsAreSerious #SocialSecurityDayofAction” This post reiterates her commitment to protecting and enhancing the welfare of senior citizens, a significant portion of her constituents.

Joyce Beatty has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Ohio’s 3rd District, since 2013. She previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999 to 2008.
