Representative Gary Click, a public official from Ohio, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing topics ranging from openness in his office to reflections on political direction and expressions of faith.

On July 14, 2025, Rep. Click posted, “Our doors are open wide. “ This statement was made via his official account and appears to signal accessibility and availability to constituents.

Later that day, he commented on the nature of progress and decision-making by stating, “It’s not that they were going ‘too fast’ but rather that they were going in the wrong direction. Driving over a cliff slowly is still driving over a cliff.” The post suggests concerns about the trajectory of certain actions or policies rather than their pace.

In another message posted the same evening, Rep. Click reflected on an event involving former President Donald Trump. He wrote, “It is beyond question that God’s hand of providence protected @realDonaldTrump one year ago today and on many other occasions that we may not even be aware of. Thank God for his mercy and grace which are new every day!!” The tweet refers to what Rep. Click describes as divine protection over Trump following an incident a year prior.

Rep. Gary Click represents Ohio’s 88th District in the Ohio House of Representatives.
