The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced on March 25 the schedule and venues for its 2026 Athletic Discussion Meetings, which will take place at six locations across the state in April. Kristin Ronai or Ronald Sayers, both directors at OHSAA, will review the upcoming referendum issues during these sessions, while Executive Director Doug Ute will discuss topics of current interest to administrators involved in school athletics.
These meetings are designed for superintendents, high school principals, athletic administrators, seventh- and eighth-grade principals, and city supervisors. OHSAA encourages attendance by at least one administrator from each school or district but limits participation to four representatives per institution. The organization said there is no cost to attend any of the two-hour sessions.
Administrators planning to attend are asked to coordinate registration through their high school athletic administrator. Those administrators will receive an email with a link for online registration and a confirmation message once their submission has been received. Media representatives interested in attending should contact Tim Stried for more information.
The six meetings are scheduled as follows: Logan High School Auditorium on April 14; Northmont Community Auditorium in Clayton on April 15; Quest Conference Center in Westerville on April 20; Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge on April 23; Streetsboro High School Auditorium on April 27; and Camden Falls Reception & Conference Center in Tiffin on April 28. Special notes include specific entry instructions at some venues and lunch being provided during the Tiffin meeting.
These annual discussions allow school leaders to stay informed about key issues affecting interscholastic athletics programs throughout Ohio.
