The Ohio State University Buckeyes men’s and women’s basketball teams recognized their graduating seniors during the Feb. 26 game against the Michigan State Spartans.
The recognition highlights the contributions of student-athletes, managers, and support staff who played key roles in the teams’ seasons. Honored before the game were women’s team players T’yana Todd and Chance Gray, along with men’s team players Brandon Noel, Christoph Tilly, and Bruce Thornton. Student managers Aaron Plum, Akshay Diora, and Reese Sauerbrun were also acknowledged, as well as support team members Jenna Wiseman from athletic training, Jordan Meyer from equipment management, and D.J. Pelles from digital media.
Members of the Brutus support team—Tyler Wisman, Caleb Kies, Jeff Moody, and Kurt Steelman—were recognized for their efforts. Cheerleading seniors Emily Schaaf, Bella Eldredge, Ryleigh Stelletell, Aiden Garramone, Giovanni DeSantis, Michael Osinski, and Josh Sobecks received acknowledgment alongside dance seniors Isabelle Davis, Bennet Espinda-Banick, Lauren Wainz, and Molly Youngblood. Managers Allie Hiegel, Kevin Houston, Jaydon Pearson and Zach Sheaffer were honored at halftime.
