Ohio real estate licensees who serve as Election Day poll workers in 2026 are eligible to receive three hours of Core Law continuing education credit, according to an April 23 announcement from the Ohio Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing.

This opportunity allows licensees to contribute to the election process while also fulfilling part of their continuing education requirements. By participating as a Precinct Election Officer on Election Day and following the necessary steps—downloading the PEO Continuing Education Certificate, having it signed by the Presiding Judge, and submitting it to the Division of Real Estate—licensees will receive three hours of Core Law CE credit.

Ohio Realtors supports initiatives like this as part of its broader efforts to empower real estate professionals through advocacy, education, resources, and support designed to uphold high ethical standards according to the official website. The organization represents more than 40,000 real estate professionals and affiliates across all 88 counties in Ohio through its network of 30 local boards according to the official website.

The association is directed by a board made up of elected leaders from within the real estate sector according to the official website. In addition to supporting professional development opportunities such as continuing education for poll workers, Ohio Realtors advocates for policies that protect property rights and promote homeownership at both state and federal levels according to the official website.

Further information about earning Core Law credit for serving as a poll worker is available on the Ohio Division of Real Estate’s website.
