Citing CNBC, he noted that “Annual inflation rate hit 2.3% in April, less than expected and lowest since 2021,” reflecting a positive shift in economic indicators.

Later on May 13, Carey highlighted infrastructure improvements with a focus on rural airports in Central Ohio. He stated “The improvements are part of a broader push to invest in infrastructure across rural and regional transportation hubs in Ohio”. These enhancements aim to equip facilities like Fayette County Airport with necessary tools for safety and efficiency.

As an influential figure from Sabina, Ohio born in 1971 and an alumnus of Ohio State University with a BA earned in 1993, Carey’s contributions continue to shape policies benefiting his constituents.
