Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative initiatives and community engagement efforts.

On March 9, 2026, Carey posted about his recent advocacy work for infrastructure improvements at a major local airport: “Last week, I led a bipartisan group of lawmakers advocating for increased resources from the DOT to support upgrades at John Glenn Airport. Later that day, Carey addressed concerns over public health and national security regarding imported vaping products. He wrote on March 9, 2026: “Dangerous e-cigarettes from China that are unvetted by the FDA pose serious public health and national security risks. Carey has served as the congressional representative for Ohio’s 15th District since 2021, succeeding Steve Stivers (source). Born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently residing in Columbus, he is also an alumnus of Ohio State University with a BA earned in 1993.
