Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on social media regarding tax policy changes and meetings with professional associations.

On March 30, 2026, Carey highlighted new developments for taxpayers this year, stating: “The Working Families Tax Cuts are opening new doors for workers filing this year! Many are seeing new deductions they can claim thanks to @HouseGOP efforts.”

A day later, on March 31, he posted about his engagement with medical professionals: “Last week, I had the pleasure of welcoming members of the National Association of Medical Technicians to my office. I am proud to always stand by our first responders!”

On April 1, Carey reported a meeting focused on housing issues: “Last week, I was happy to welcome members of the National Apartment Association to our DC office and discuss how we can meet the demand for housing units and bring costs down!”

Carey has represented Ohio’s 15th District since 2021 after succeeding Steve Stivers. He was born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently resides in Columbus. Carey graduated from Ohio State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
