Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, announced a $25 million grant for infrastructure improvements in Groveport on July 17, 2025.

On his official account, Carey posted: “Today, I was pleased to announce a $25 million grant to upgrade our infrastructure in Groveport! This will help widen Alum Creek Drive, provide pedestrian amenities, and replace two bridges.” (July 17, 2025).

He also shared a link for further information with the post: “Read more here: https://t.co/KbMsrtg5fb” (July 17, 2025).

Later that day, Carey commented on cryptocurrency policy by stating: “America must be the crypto capital of the world! Proud to vote to pass the CLARITY Act!” (July 17, 2025).

Carey has represented Ohio’s 15th District since 2021 after succeeding Steve Stivers. Born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently residing in Columbus, he graduated from Ohio State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
