Later that day at 20:35 UTC, she posted another message regarding transparency issues in Congress: “The blatant hypocrisy of Trump and Congressional Republicans when it comes to the Epstein files is appalling.

We’re recessing early because they can’t be transparent with the American people. https://t.co/XSbktEjxLg

Joyce Beatty has represented Ohio’s 3rd District in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Mike Turner. She previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999 to 2008. Born in Dayton in 1950 and currently residing in Columbus, Beatty graduated from Central State University with a BA in 1972.
