Ohio State Representative Josh Williams, a Republican serving District 44 in the Ohio House of Representatives, has recently highlighted his legislative record and campaign for Congress through a series of social media posts.
On April 29, 2026, Williams stated, “My record is clear: I author more bills than anybody in the Ohio legislature and I’ve delivered conservative wins for our state. Nobody in Washington will outwork me as Northwest Ohio’s next Congressman. Vote for me in the OH-09 primary on Tuesday if you want to send an America”. Williams currently serves as part of the legislative branch and has sponsored legislation on topics such as overdose-response protocols in schools, escaped convict alerts, and sex-offender registry protections, according to the official website.
Later that day, Williams addressed his representation of majority-white districts both at the state level and in his congressional campaign. On April 29, 2026 he wrote, “I’m a black Republican who currently represents a majority-white district in the Ohio State House and is running to represent a majority-white district in Congress. The idea that black Americans need special districts carved out just for them is complete nonsense. It’s a”.
The following day on April 30, 2026, Williams expressed gratitude toward local supporters during his campaign activities: “Thank you to Kathy and Dean Genter for hosting a fantastic meet and greet in Archbold last night. It was great to spend time with so many farmers and people from across Fulton County talking about the future of OH-09 and Northwest Ohio agriculture.”
Williams’ tenure includes efforts related to public safety measures and community engagement within District 44. He continues to seek broader support as he campaigns for Congress representing Northwest Ohio.
