Homeowners in Grandview Heights paid 1.7% of their home’s value in property taxes during the first quarter of 2026, more than double the national average, BlockShopper.com data shows.

The median sales price for a home in Grandview Heights during this time was $615,000, based on seven properties sold. For 2026, the city’s median property tax bill stood at $10,660, which equals 1.7% of the median value of assessed homes.

The U.S. average effective property tax rate was 0.888% in 2024.

Within Franklin County, Hilliard and Hamilton Meadows recorded the top two effective property tax rates among cities in the county.
