David Thomas posted on April 16, 2026, about his participation in the Ashtabula County Board of Realtors’ cake auction for Hospice. In three separate tweets, he described the event and highlighted contributions from his mother and local photographer Bill McMinn.

In each tweet, Thomas wrote: “The Ashtabula County Board of Realtors always has an awesome cake auction for Hospice! Mom made a great looking Blueberry Lemon Sourdough Cake and I won cupcakes and this photo from Bill McMinn that is now in Columbus.” (April 16, 2026). The same message was posted at slightly different times: here and here.

The Ashtabula County Board of Realtors organizes this annual cake auction to benefit Hospice care in the community. Such fundraising events often rely on contributions from local residents and businesses, including baked goods donated by participants’ families and items such as photographs contributed by area artists.
