Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent engagements across Ohio through a series of posts on social media.

On August 20, Carey posted about his participation at a memorial event and visit to a military facility: “Spent a great morning at the Lockbourne Memorial Wall groundbreaking ceremony and visiting the Ohio Air National Guard 121st Air Refueling Wing at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base. Great to try out the flight simulator as well!”

The following day, August 21, he highlighted his involvement with local business leaders: “Wonderful morning at the Delaware County Economic Summit meeting with local business leaders today!”

On August 22, Carey visited a veterans’ facility and expressed gratitude for its long-standing service: “Great to meet with veterans and the leadership at the Dayton VA Medical Center today to get an update on the work they’re doing. This facility has been serving our nation’s veterans for over 150 years and I am incredibly grateful for their dedication!”

Carey has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Steve Stivers as representative of Ohio’s 15th district. Born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971, Carey is currently 52 years old and resides in Columbus. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
