Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted key legislative efforts and Ohio’s leadership in election security in a series of posts on his social media account between July 26 and July 29, 2025.

On July 26, Carey addressed the importance of secure elections and praised Ohio’s achievements in this area. He stated, “Election security is paramount, and requires constant effort. Ohio has been a national leader in making sure our election systems are secure and our voter data is accurate. I spoke this week at a @HouseAdmin hearing highlighting our state’s success.”

Two days later, on July 28, Carey focused on tax policy related to agriculture, noting benefits for local farmers through recent legislation. He wrote, “Our @HouseGOP reconciliation law gets tax relief to American farmers, including the more than 77,000 farms in Ohio. This will help our agriculture industry thrive!”

Continuing this theme on July 29, Carey outlined broader economic impacts of the same law: “Thanks to our @HouseGOP reconciliation law, Ohio and America are poised to see: Lower taxes. Higher wages. Better results for working families.”

Mike Carey has represented Ohio’s 15th District since succeeding Steve Stivers in 2021. Born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently residing in Columbus, Carey holds a BA from Ohio State University (graduated 1993).
