Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to highlight local engagement and legislative efforts aimed at supporting working families and small businesses.
On March 9, 2026, Carey posted about a visit to a local business facility: “Great to tour Total Distribution’s facility in Columbus this afternoon to discuss how our working families tax cuts will remove costs, raise wages, and grow our local economy thanks to our @HouseGOP policies.”
The following day, March 10, he addressed recent legislative actions by the House GOP: “.@HouseGOP saw the financial hardship families faced after years of high costs. When we passed the working families tax cuts, we expanded the child tax credit to offer more relief for parents raising kids.”
Later that morning, Carey described another meeting with community members: “Great to meet with local leaders at Budd Dairy Food Hall in Columbus this morning for a @GS10KSmallBiz roundtable to discuss the bright future for small businesses and workers in Ohio thanks to the @HouseGOP working families tax cuts. More money, better growth, and higher wages!”
Mike Carey has served as the congressional representative for Ohio’s 15th District since 2021, succeeding Steve Stivers. Born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently residing in Columbus, Carey is an alumnus of Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree earned in 1993.
