Charleston’s Bridget Womber, St. Francis DeSales alum, to play in NCAA Division II basketball tournament

Bridget Womber, a former St. Francis DeSales High School player now with the Charleston Golden Eagles, is set to take part in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.

The team will enter as the No. 8 seed and face top-seeded IUP Crimson Hawks in the opening round.

The first-round matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 5 p.m. at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
