U.S. Representative Mike Carey (R-Ohio-15) has announced the opening of submissions for Fiscal Year 2027 general appropriations and Community Project Funding (CPF) requests. The announcement invites constituents and organizations in Ohio’s 15th Congressional District to submit their proposals for federal funding.
In the previous fiscal year, Rep. Carey secured $22,504,000 for 14 projects within his district through the appropriations process. These funds supported initiatives related to education, infrastructure, public safety, and historic preservation.
“I’ve been proud to personally bring tens of millions of Ohio tax dollars back to Ohio’s 15th District through the appropriations process to support critical education, infrastructure, public safety, and historic preservation projects,” Rep. Carey said. “Ohioans work hard, and I am working to make sure the taxes they pay come home to make a difference in their communities. By hearing directly from constituents about the most pressing issues, these funding requests can direct federal support for local community challenges and provide needed relief.”
The deadline for submitting requests is Friday, March 6, 2026, by close of business. Interested parties can find request forms and additional submission requirements on Rep. Carey’s official website under the “Services” page.
Rep. Carey has represented Ohio’s 15th district in Congress since replacing Steve Stivers in 2021. He was born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently resides in Columbus at age 52. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University in 1993.
