Ohio State Representative Brian Stewart posted a series of tweets between March 8 and March 9, 2026, sharing opinions on politics, sports commentary, and personal interests.

On March 8, Stewart commented on the future prospects of Thom Tillis, writing: “Thom Tillis is going to get one of those cushy “Contributor” contracts at CNN where his only job is to daily rag on Republicans with “Former Republican Senator” scrawled under his name.”

Later that day, he discussed a sports matchup involving Crosby and Mims: “The build-up to this game was all about Crosby…and Mims largely blanked him. Honestly, if Mims is healthy, I’ve stopped worrying about who lines up against him. He’s been a home run pick.”

On March 9, Stewart shared a personal update featuring his culinary pursuits: “Halibut dish for #StewsKitchen yesterday, with some sautéed asparagus and grape tomatoes.”

Brian Stewart serves as a Republican state representative for Ohio House District 12, representing Madison and Pickaway counties as well as part of western Franklin County. He is an Iraq War infantry veteran who earned the Combat Infantryman’s Badge and two Army Commendation Medals during his service (official website). Stewart also co-chaired the first meeting of the Ohio Redistricting Commission. His interests include movies, sports, target shooting, American history books, and Johnny Cash’s music.
