U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno, representing Ohio, posted a series of statements on his social media account in late March 2026 addressing issues ranging from immigration policy to Federal Reserve leadership.

On March 24, 2026, Moreno wrote: “Time kills all deals.”

The following day, he commented on Senate Democrats’ stance regarding deportations: “Senate Democrat’s demands comes down to this: no deportations of illegal aliens unless they commit a ‘serious’ crime! Meaning, they are perfectly fine with someone breaking into America but draw the line if that person kills an American citizen. Unless they get their way, they https://t.co/LYPdQqeaPT” This post was made on March 25, 2026.

Later that same day, Moreno addressed Federal Reserve leadership and called for new direction: “Americans deserve an independent Fed chair, not a partisan hack. Kevin Warsh is the leader we need. Jay Powell cost Americans hundreds of millions of dollars and rigged the system for Democrats. It’s time for an upgrade: confirm Kevin now! https://t.co/o3R1os1Lbb”

Moreno immigrated from Colombia at age five and became a U.S. citizen at eighteen. He has established himself as a business leader in Ohio and currently serves on several Senate committees including those focused on banking, housing and urban affairs, commerce, science, transportation, homeland security, governmental affairs and budget issues (official website). He also promotes innovation in technology sectors such as blockchain and autonomous vehicles while maintaining offices across Washington and Ohio to assist constituents.
