On April 6, 2026, King expressed gratitude for political support, stating, “Thank you, Ohio Value Voters, for your endorsement. Protecting Faith, Family, Freedom, and the Sanctity of Life.”
The following day, April 7, 2026, she encouraged voter participation as early voting began. She wrote: “Early voting starts today! Since taking office, I’ve worked hard to uphold conservative principles by standing against government overreach and unfunded mandates, protecting personal freedoms and constitutional rights, and ensuring local communities, not bureaucrats, have a”. King has a background in advocacy for the deaf and hard of hearing community and was instrumental in passing legislation for universal newborn hearing screening in Ohio. She also resides in Celina with her husband Mark; they have been married for over three decades and share two adult children and four grandchildren.
