Ohio Representative Angie King Reaffirms Commitment to Infrastructure and Security

Angie King, a sponsor of HB 1 and representative of Ohio’s 84th House District, reiterated her dedication to protecting critical infrastructure and military bases in a series of posts on her social media account.

On April 2, 2026, King stated, “A sponsor of HB 1, I remain committed to protecting Ohio’s critical infrastructure and the security of our military bases because that’s not politics, it’s my duty. At a time when global threats are rising, safeguarding what powers our state and nation should be a unifying”.

King has been recognized for her advocacy for the deaf and hard of hearing community and was instrumental in championing Ohio’s Universal Newborn Hearing Screening legislation. She holds both a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and an MBA from Wright State University. King resides in Celina with her husband Mark; they have two adult children and four grandchildren.
