Amani Lyles, a former Beechcroft High School star now playing for the Akron Zips, is preparing to take the court in the NCAA Tournament.

Entering as the No. 12 seed, the Zips will face off against the No. 5 seed Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The opening matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at 12:40 p.m. at Benchmark International Arena.
