Adam Mathews, representative of Ohio’s 56th House District, recently shared a series of personal observations and commentary on social media.

On April 17, 2026, Mathews posted about a classic educational computer game: “The logical journey of the Zoombinis”.

The following day, April 18, he commented on demographic trends with a post referencing family size and birth rates: “I guess this is what passes for Family Size with a 1.57 baby rate.”

Later that same day, Mathews weighed in on entertainment preferences, stating: “I would pay for a streaming service that showed the basic cable cuts of great movies.”

According to his official biography, Mathews has chaired the Board of Directors for Elizabeth’s New Life Center—a network of women’s centers in Southwest Ohio—and served as Vice Mayor of Lebanon (source). He also resides in Lebanon with his wife Amanda and their five children. In addition to representing the 56th House District in the Ohio State House (source), Mathews has held leadership roles such as chairing the Intellectual Property Section of the Ohio State Bar Association and serving on boards including the Cincinnati Federalist Society and Warren County Republican Party. He has also served as Vice President of the Notre Dame Club of Dayton.
