Adam Mathews, a representative of Ohio’s 56th House District and former Vice Mayor of Lebanon, recently shared his views and experiences through a series of posts on social media.

On May 13, 2026, Mathews posted about recent college demonstrations, stating: “And you had college protests at Columbia and elsewhere in support of these monsters.”

Two days later, on May 14, he expressed gratitude after an event appearance with the post: “Great to meet you at the Gala and thank you for keynoting!”

Mathews’ background includes chairing the Board of Directors for Elizabeth’s New Life Center—a network of women’s centers in Southwest Ohio—and serving as Vice Mayor of Lebanon. He has also chaired the Intellectual Property Section of the Ohio State Bar Association and served on boards such as the Cincinnati Federalist Society and the Warren County Republican Party.
